Some quick notes on Pigments VST

Pigments is Arturia's new synth from 2019.
A modern version of a hybrid analog vs wavetable synthesizer with extensive modulation capabilities and great interface.

The interface

Pigments has 2 audio engines. An analog with 3 standard oscillators and a wavetable engine with morphing. In Pigments 2 a Sample engine with a granular option has been added. Pigments has 2 filters with 8 selectable types. The 8 filters available in the Pigments plugin. Some of the filter types are used on their V Collection synths.

The interface is nice. Dark colors and beautifully designed GUI and lots of visible controllers.

CPU usage can be a bit high but not critical like some of the heavy u-He synthesizers.

Pigments is a powerful hybrid virtual synthesizer with multiple synthesis engines that can be used simultaneously. It features a virtual analog synthesis engine with three oscillators, a complex wavetable synthesis engine, a sample-based granular engine. In addition, the synthesizer features a collection of classic analog filter models sourced from the V Collection plugins, as well as a selection of modern filter types for more aggressive and experimental sounds. Multiple filters can be combined in serial and parallel routing.
